ITINENARY

DAY 1: PHNOM PENH ARRIVAL (MEALS: NO)

Upon your arrival at the airport, our driver and tour guide will pick you up and take you back to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the time you are free at your leisure. You stay overnight at a hotel in Phnom Penh.

DAY 2: PHNOM PENH DISCOVERY (MEALS: B,L)

You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you start to visit:

Royal Palace: opened in 1870 under King Norodom. This is a palace built to serve the food and living of the King and his family as well as to hold court meetings and receive guests.

Silver Pagoda: is a unique temple with 5329 pieces of silver on the floor. This is a temple that keeps religious treasures including 1650 valuable objects.

Toul Sleng Genocide Museum: is a museum of genocide condemning the Khmer Rouge regime during its rule from 1975-1979. The prison held more than 17,000 people during this time.

Russian market: is a place to trade and exchange goods of local people. This is also a very attractive destination for international tourists.

You stay overnight at a hotel in Phnom Penh.

DAY 3: PHNOM PENH – KRATIE (MEALS: B,L)

You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, our driver will pick you up to Kratie. This is a small town on the edge of the Mekong River with beautiful natural scenery. Kratie is famous for its Irrawaddy dolphins. Along the riverside road, you will see the traditional houses of the ancient Khmer people. You stay overnight at Kratie.

DAY 4: KRATIE – BANLUNG (MEALS: B,L)

You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you go to visit Banlung. Banlung is a city of Ratanakiri province which is located in the mountainous northeastern part of Cambodia with dense forests and is also home to 12 ethnic minority groups. You will learn a lot of interesting information about the life and culture of the locals here. You stay overnight in Banlung.

DAY 5: BANLUNG DISCOVERY (MEALS: B,L)

You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you visit the local market at Bar Kaev to learn many interesting things about the culture and customs of the locals here. Then, you tour around Banlung to reach AndoungMeas district (Golden Well) and continue to take a boat to reach Taing Se commune along the Sre San River. You will meet a tribe on Charay hill to exchange and learn a lot of interesting information about the culture of the local people here. On the way back, you will visit beautiful rubber and coffee plantations.

You stay overnight in Banlung.

DAY 6: TA VAENG DISCOVERY (MEALS: B,L)

You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you go to visit Ta Vaeng and explore life of the ethnic minorities here. The locals are known as Khmer Loeu. The population is about 70,000 people and most of them live in the northeastern provinces such as: Rattanakiri, Mondulkiri, Stung Treng and Kratie…You will learn a lot of interesting information about their culture and life here.

DAY 7: VUENSAI DISCOVERY (MEALS: B,L)

You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you visit Vuensai. Visit Ceal Rumplan (rock field) on the way and continue to Veunsai district. You will take a boat ride on the Sre San River and stop to visit Kachoun village to learn about the life, culture and customs of the locals here. In addition, you will also visit the villages of Tumpoun, Ou’lalay and Kavet, a minority Chinese village.

At Banphang village, you will experience many interesting ritual activities such as “cotton yarn wish” and “water spray”. Next, you visit the beautiful NorngKabat forest. Then you return to the hotel to rest. You stay overnight in Banlung.

DAY 8: KOMPUNG CHAM DISCOVERY (MEALS: B,L)

You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you go to visit Kompung Cham. Along the way, you will enjoy the beautiful poetic scenery of Kompung Cham. You visit a famous rubber plantation here. Then you return to Kompung Cham town to check-in. You stay overnight at the hotel.

DAY 9: KOMUNG CHAM – KOPUNG THOM (MEALS: B)

You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Today, you visit WatNorkor, Phnom Prous and Phnom Srei on your way to Kompung Thom. In the afternoon, you visit Sambo Prey Kub temple – known as the forgotten ancient capital and also a famous world heritage site of Cambodia.

DAY 10: KOMPUNG THOM – SIEM REAP (MEALS: B,L)

You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you depart for Siem Reap. Along the way, you will stop at the ancient Naga Bridge – you will learn a lot of useful information about this bridge. You check-in at your hotel in Siem Reap. Afternoon: you take a tuk-tuk ride and visit Ta Prohm temple – one of the most famous temples in Cambodia located in the jungle with huge fig trees and giant climbing trees embracing the temple to create amazing scenery. The architecture is unique and very impressive. You visit Preah Khan temple: is an ancient temple in Angkor built in the 12th century for King Jayavarman VII. You visit other temples around here. After that, you return to the hotel to rest.

DAY 11: DISCOVER SIEM REAP (MEALS: B,L)

You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you go to visit the Angkor area. You will discover many interesting things at the South Gate of Angkor Thom – this is a famous attraction with a series of giant faces carved in stone. You continue to visit the impressive Bayon Temple with the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King

Angkor Wat Temple: is the largest religious monument in the world, about 162ha wide, built in the 12th century. This is a massive attraction with many galleries, columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards, ponds. You will learn a lot of information about Cambodia’s culture and history here.

DAY 12: DISCOVER SIEM REAP (MEALS: B,L)

You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you visit Banteay Srei – a famous temple worshiping Hindu and Shiva God. This temple was built around the 10th century in the Angkor area.

You get in the car, start discovering and walk to visit other destinations. Along the way, you will enjoy beautiful forests, you will listen to the sound of waterfalls and see carved rocks of Brahma religious deities dating back to around the 11th century. These are called “Thousand Lingas Rivers” to thank the gods for their gifts.

Next, you visit Banteay Samre: famous for its unique architecture and exquisite carvings. You visit the local village and the Baray Oriental – built by Rajendravarman: BanteayKdey, Pré Rup, PreasatKhleang, Mébon Oriental. Then you return to Siem Reap. On the way back, you stop by a temple – where young monks study. You stay overnight at a hotel in Siem Reap.

DAY 13: SIEM REAP DEPARTURE (MEALS: B)

In the morning: You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, our driver and guide will take you on a tour of Choueng Kneas village – you board the boat and learn about the life of the locals in Cambodia. On the way back, you will see schools, restaurants, and hospitals on Tonle Sap Lake. After that, you go to the airport for the flight back home. End of services! See you again!

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Before 60 days: free of charge
  • From 30-59 days before departure day: 10% of total rate
  • From 15-29 days before departure day: 30% of total rate
  • From 7-14 days before departure day: 50% of total rate
  • Less than 7 days before departure day or no-show: 100% of total rate
