ITINENARY

DAY 1: SIEM REAP ARRIVAL (MEALS: D)

Upon your arrival at Siem Reap Airport, our driver and guide will pick you up and drop you off at your hotel for check-in.

In the afternoon: Our guide picks you up and begins to visit Ta Prohm temple – one of the most beautiful ancient temples in Siem Reap. The temple has huge fig trees and giant vines surrounding the temple, creating an impressive architecture of human creativity and the beauty of nature.

In the evening: You have dinner at a local restaurant. After dinner, you relax or explore the town at night. You stay overnight at a hotel in Siem Reap.

DAY 2: SIEM REAP – ANGKOR COMPLEX (MEALS: B,L)

You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, our driver and guide will pick you up at your hotel lobby and visit:

Banteay Srei: is a temple built in the 10th century with exquisite beauty. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and Hindu god. Visiting this temple, you will learn a lot of interesting information about the architecture, history and culture of Cambodia.

You have lunch at a local restaurant

In the afternoon: You visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom and Bayon temple – this is a temple built in the late 12th century including 54 towers, the Royal Enclosure, the Phimeanakas, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King.

Next, you visit Angkor Wat – the largest temple in the world with an area of ​​200ha surrounded by an outer wall measuring 1300m x 1500m. You will learn a lot of interesting information about the history and culture of Cambodia here. You stay overnight at a hotel in Siem Reap.

DAY 3: SIEM REAP – PREAH VIHEAR (MEALS: B,L)

You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you go to visit Preah Vihear temple – a temple located on the top of a mountain bordering with Thailand. This temple is dedicated to the god Shiva and was listed by UNESCO as a world heritage site in 2008.

Before visiting Preah Vihear Temple, you will visit Anlong Veng – this is a rustic and peaceful town located next to the Thai border. This is also the final resting place of Pol Pot – the head of the Khmer Rouge genocidal regime. You will learn a lot of information about the history and past of Cambodia in the period from 1975-1979. You visit Pol Pot’s guesthouse and his grave.

Then you visit Preah Vihear temple. After visiting, you will return to your hotel in Preah Vihear and overnight here.

DAY 4: PREAH VIHEAR – KAMPONG THOM (MEALS: B)

You get up early and take your breakfast away. Then our driver picks you up and transfers you to the steep hillside. You visit the temple at sunrise to enjoy the beautiful view of the morning sunrise. After sunrise, you explore the ancient temple and take some beautiful photos here. Then you return to the hotel to relax and have lunch before driving to Kampong Thom. Along the way, you will enjoy the poetic beauty of Cambodia. Arrive in Kampong Thom, you check in the hotel and stay overnight here.

DAY 5: KAMPONG THOM – KAMPONG CHAM (MEALS: B,L)

You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you visit Kampong Thom – famous for Sambor Prei Kuk – this is a temple complex dating back to the 6th and 7th centuries. This is a long-standing complex in Cambodia with beauty blended with charming nature in the forest of Kampong Thom. Next, you visit the temples here, you can rent bicycles from locals and explore the 3 main temples with your guide. You will go through narrow paths through the forest to explore and have lunch at a local family.

After lunch, you depart for Kampong Cham and visit Hancey Pagoda – a beautiful temple built on a hill with a view of the Mekong River. You will learn a lot of interesting information about Cambodia’s Buddhism, see the monks and monkeys living in this temple. You stay overnight at the hotel.

DAY 6: KAMPONG CHAM – PHNOM PENH (MEALS: B)

You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you start exploring the island driving. You will learn a lot of interesting information about the local community and their daily life here. You continue the tour by horse-drawn carriage. After sightseeing, you get on the car back to Phnom Penh and we will stop to visit the local markets to enjoy the attractive culinary dishes on the halfway. Back to the capital of Cambodia, you check-in and relax. You stay overnight in Phnom Penh.

DAY 7: PHNOM PENH CITY TOUR (MEALS: B)

You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you visit Tuol Sleng Museum (prison S-21) – a school that was once used by Pol Pot’s security forces as a prison. More than 17,000 people who detained were all killed in Choeng Ek.

Next, you visit the Choeng Ek killing field: where 17,000 people including men, women, children, babies were detained and tortured at S-21 prison and moved here to be killed from 1975-1978.

Then, you visit the center of the Russian market – famous for cheap clothes, Buddha statues, wood carvings, silver jewelry, betel nut boxes. You can buy some souvenirs here.

Next, enjoy a sunset cruise on the Tonle Sap Lake and Mekong rivers in Phnom Penh. You stay overnight at a hotel in Phnom Penh.

DAY 8: PHNOM PENH DISCOVERY (MEALS: B)

In the morning: You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you go to visit the National Museum with more than 5000 artifacts displayed from the Angkorian period, linga and other artifacts. Next, you visit the Royal Palace – the residence of the royal familys for Cambodian kings. It’s like a small town of royal dynasties.

You visit Silver Pagoda – a temple with 5329 pieces of silver paved on the floor. This is a place to store cultural treasures such as a 90kg golden Buddha statue studded with 2086 diamonds. You will learn many interesting things here.

Wat Phnom: is one of the most famous and important temples in the capital Phnom Penh. The temple was built in 1373 on an artificial hill by the rich widow Daun Chi Penh.

After sightseeing, you return to the hotel to relax. You stay overnight at a hotel in Phnom Penh.

DAY 9: PHNOM PENH DEPARTURE (MEALS: B)

You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, our driver will pick you up and transfer you to the airport for your flight back home. End of services! See you again!
