ITINERARY

DAY 1: MANDALAY ARRIVAL (MEALS: NO)

Upon your arrival at the airport, our driver and guide will pick you up and return to your hotel for check-in. You stay overnight at a hotel in Mandalay.

DAY 2: MANDALAY – AMARAPURA (MELS: B)

You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you visit the Mahamuni temple – one of the temples with the largest Buddha statue in the country.

Then you continue to visit Amarapura – the penultimate royal capital of Myanmar. Amarapura means “Immortal City”, although its period as the capital was relatively short. You visit Mahagandayon Monastery, home to more than a thousand young monks and famous as a center of strict religious discipline and study.

You continue to visit Kuthodaw Pagoda – known as “The World’s Largest Book” with a collection of 729 marble slabs engraved with Buddhist teachings. Next, you visit Shwenandaw Monastery, Golden Monastery – the only permanent structure from the Royal Palace in the 19th century. In addition, you also have the opportunity to visit many craft workshops in Mandalay.

In the afternoon, you visit the legendary U Bein Bridge built in 1782 when Amarapura was the center of Royal attention. Then you return to the hotel to rest. You stay overnight at a hotel in Mandalay.

DAY 3: MANDALAY – HEHO – INLE LAKE (MEALS: B)

You enjoy breakfast at the hotel and then go to the airport for a flight to Heho. Upon arrival in Heho, our driver and guide will pick you up for a tour of Nyaung Shwe – the gateway village to Inle Lake. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to visit rural workshops specializing in the production of traditional Shan paper and unique handmade umbrellas. Then, you board a motorboat and experience exploring Inle Lake – one of the lakes with beautiful and quiet scenery. You will see fishing boats, vegetation and shimmering hills. Along the way, you will visit a number of villages built in the style of stilt houses on the lake – inhabited by the Intha people. You will learn about their daily life.

You visit Nga Hpe Chaung monastery – It is famous for Shan Buddha statues in Myanmar. You will find a lot of useful information about Buddha statues here. Next, you visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda – where there are 5 sacred statues of Buddha decorated with gold leaf. In addition, you can also visit the traditional craft villages originating from Inle Lake such as: lotus silk weaving village, cigar workshop, blacksmith workshop… Then you return to the boat. and return to the hotel to rest. You stay overnight at a hotel in Heho.

DAY 4: INDEIN VILLAGE (MEALS: B)

You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you visit the local markets on the lake (the market is open every day except on the black and full moon days of the calendar). Then, you take a boat for about 1 hour to visit Pa-Oh village located on the west bank of Inle Lake. You walk around the village before reaching the top of the hill. When you reach the top of the village, you will admire the poetic scenery. You also have the opportunity to visit the surrounding temples with hundreds of small stupas. Then you walk to Sae Ma village. Along the way, you will enjoy the natural beauty and poetic scenery of bamboo groves. When you come to the village, you will learn many interesting things about the daily life of local people.

DAY 5: INLE – YANGON (MEALS: B)

You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you depart to Heho airport for a flight to Yangon. Upon your arrival at Yangon Airport, our driver and guide will pick you up for sightseeing:

Kyaukhtatgyi Pagoda: you will admire a 70m long reclining Buddha statue with the size of a blue whale. Then, you visit the Royal Lake located in Kandawgyi Park. This place is popular with locals in the early morning and late afternoon. You gaze at the Karaweik hall – a reproduction of a royal barge and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Golden Shwedagon Pagoda. You visit local people’s stalls and your guide will explain to you about Buddhist rituals in Myanmar. Shwedagon is known as the most important religious site for Myanmar people. You will have many interesting experiences here.

You return to the hotel and stay overnight at the hotel in Yangon.

DAY 6: YANGON DEPARTURE (MEALS: B)

You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, our driver will pick you up from the airport for your flight back home. End of services! See you again!

  • From 11 years old: Adult rate

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Before 60 days: free of charge
  • From 30-59 days before departure day: 10% of total rate
  • From 15-29 days before departure day: 30% of total rate
  • From 7-14 days before departure day: 50% of total rate
  • Less than 7 days before departure day or no-show: 100% of total rate
