DAY 1: PHNOM PENH ARRIVAL (MEALS: NO)
Upon your arrival in Phnom Penh, our driver and guide will pick you up and drop you off at your hotel for check-in.
In the afternoon: You visit the Royal Palace – a famous palace under King Norodom built in 1870. You visit the Royal Palace, the Hall of the Throne, the Silver Pagoda and other buildings.
Silver Pagoda (Wat Preah Keo Morokat): is a tourist site that attracts many tourists and this is a place to display religious objects. The pagoda has 5329 pieces of silver on the floor. When you visit, you will learn a lot of interesting information. You stay overnight in Phnom Penh.
DAY 2: PHNOM PENH – BATTAMBANG (MEALS: B,L)
You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, our guide picks you up and departs for Battambang. It takes you about 4.5 hours drive.
You visit the Silversmith village, see the pottery workshops in Kampong Chhnang and the fish market. Arrive in Battambang, you check in to relax. After that, you are free to explore the town. You stay overnight at a hotel in Battambang.
DAY 3: BATTAMBANG SIGHTSEEING (MEALS: B,L)
You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, our driver and guide will pick you up at your hotel and depart for Wat Slaket – the residence of the Buddhist patriarch. You continue to visit Wat Ek Phnom and the local market.
Then, you visit the Provincial Museum (closed on Saturday and Sunday), the local market.
You continue to visit Phnom Banon – a sandstone tower on the top of the hill. You will be rewarded with beautiful views of the surrounding plains at sunset.
In the afternoon, you visit the bamboo train village with many interesting experiences when sliding on this fun train. You stay overnight at a hotel in Battambang.
DAY 4: BATTAMBANG – SIEM REAP (MEALS: B,L)
You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you move by speedboat to Siem Reap along the Sangkar River. You will enjoy the poetic scenery of the daily life of the locals here. You pass Cheur Khmao Pagoda – known as “Black Wood Pagoda” in Bak Preier floating village, you pass Biosphere Reserve and Prek Tuol floating villages.
You continue to pass through Tonle Sap lake to visit Chong Khneas floating village. You arrive at Siem Reap port and move to Siem Reap town.
In the afternoon, you go to visit Les Artisans D’Angkor – Chantiers Ecoles. This is a famous attraction in Siem Reap. You stay overnight at a hotel in Siem Reap.
DAY 5: SIEM REAP – ANGKOR COMPLEX ( MEALS : B,L)
In the early morning, we pick you up for a sunrise tour at Angkor Complex. This is the best time to visit the most beautiful Angkor temples in the early morning. You return to the hotel for breakfast.
Then you’ll spend a day exploring the ancient ruins with the South Gate of Angkor Thom, famous for its many giants’ faces carved in stone, the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King and the world’s largest temple Angkor Wat. This is a famous architecture in Cambodia built in the 12th century with an area of 210ha. You will walk around this massive edifice, visit galleries with libraries, columns, pavilions, courtyards….You stay overnight in Siem Reap.
DAY 6: SIEM REAP – BANTEAY SREI – TA PROHM (MEALS: B,L)
You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you depart for Banteay Srei temple – a temple that is intricately carved and very well preserved. On the way, you stop to visit the village of Preah Dark. Next, you visit the Banteay Samre temple decorated with impressive reliefs depicting scenes of Vishunu as well as Krishna legends.
In the afternoon, you visit Ta Prohm temple with beautiful scenery hidden in the jungle. You will enjoy the huge fig trees and giant vines embracing themselves creating an impressive structure of human creativity. Visiting the temple, you will learn a lot of interesting information. You stay overnight at a hotel in Siem Reap.
DAY 7: SIEM REAP – ROLOUS GROUP (MEALS: B,L)
You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you go to visit Roluos Group. It was the capital of Indravarman I (from 877-889). Preah Ko was built by Indravarman I in the late 9th century, dedicated to his ancestors in 880. Bakong is the largest of the Roluos Group temples with a working Buddhist monastery located in East entrance. Lolei was built on a small island in the center of a large reservoir (now rice paddies) by Yasovarman I, the founder of the first city at Angkor.
Afternoon: You continue to visit Beng Mealea Temple – this is a famous temple in Cambodia for tourists who are passionate about discovery and adventure. The temple is located in the jungle with an area of more than 1km2 built in the style of Angkor Wat. You will discover many interesting things here. After that, you return to Siem Reap to check-in and rest.
DAY 8: SIEM REAP – KAMPONG THOM (MEALS: B)
You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you are free to shop at the local market and rest.
Afternoon: our driver picks you up to Kampong Thom province – Kampong Thom is a province located in the center of the Kingdom of Cambodia. The total area of the province is 15,061km2, divided into 8 districts, 81 communes and 737 villages. The population is about 576,805 people. You stay overnight at a hotel in Kampong Thom.
DAY 9: KAMPONG THOM – PHNOM PENH (MEALS: B,L)
You have breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, our guide will pick you up and move to visit Sambor Prei Kuk temple – a famous temple for pre-Angkorian art of the 7th century. You will learn a lot of interesting information. about the art, culture and history of Cambodia here.
You have lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, you depart for Phnom Penh. You check-in and stay overnight in Phnom Penh.
DAY 10: PHNOM PENH DEPARTURE (MEALS: B)
You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you visit the National Museum with many collections of Khmer art. The museum displays more than 5000 objects including statues and artifacts from Angkor Wat, Choeung Ek dead field – places that recall Cambodia’s bloody past under Pol Pot. You will listen to many stories about the Cambodian genocide. Next, you visit the Buddhist memorial in Choeung Ek – commemorating 1.7 million victims of the Pol Pot regime (1975-1979).
