ITINERARY
DAY 1: WELCOME TO VIETNAM ( MEALS: NO)
Our driver and tour guide will pick you up at Noi Bai international airport and then take you to your hotel in the center of Hanoi. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi
DAY 2: HANOI CITY TOUR – SAPA ( MEALS: B,L,D)
8:00: Our driver and guide will pick you up at your hotel and then visit Ho Chi Minh complex including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Presidential Palace, House-on-stilt, One Pillar Pagoda. You will learn a lot of useful information about the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh. After that, you visit the Temple of Literature – known as the first university of Vietnam built in 1070 and worshiping Confucius.
Noon: You have lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, you visit the Museum of Ethnology – which displays many artifacts of 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam. Visitors will learn a lot of interesting information about the culture and history of the ethnic groups of Vietnam. Next, you return to the city center and visit Ngoc Son Temple and Hoan Kiem Lake – known as the symbol of Hanoi for thousand years of civilization. Visiting Ngoc Son Temple and Hoan Kiem Lake, you learn a lot of useful information about the history and unique culture of Hanoi as well as Vietnam.
You experience a 45-minute cyclo ride to explore Hanoi’s Old Quarter with 36 bustling streets. You will see hundreds of small shops bustling with business. This will be a great experience for you to keep the most memorable moments about Hanoi Old Quarter.
You return to the hotel to relax and prepare your luggage to depart for Hanoi station to visit Sapa. Overnight on night train.
DAY 3: SAPA – LAO CHAI – TA VAN ( MEALS: B,L)
In the early morning, you arrive in Lao Cai. Our driver and tour guide pick you up at the train station and then depart for Sapa to relax and have breakfast.
After breakfast, you start trekking into the local villages in Sapa. On the way, you will enjoy the romantic scenery of Sapa with beautiful terraced fields. You’ll have a lot of opportunities to take amazing pictures here. You keep trekking to Lao Chai village – where the Black Hmong live. Next, you go trekking to Ta Van village – where the Giay people live. Coming to the villages in Sapa, you will learn many interesting things about the culture, customs, and habits of the ethnic minorities here. Next, you visit schools and local people’s houses. Then, you get in the car back to your hotel in the center of Sapa town. Overnight in Sapa.
DAY 4: SAPA – CAT CAT VILLAGE – HANOI ( MEALS: B, L)
You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you trek to Cat Cat village – home to the Black H’Mong ethnic group. You will learn a lot of useful information about the life and customs of the Black H’Mong here. Especially, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful scenery of terraced fields and majestic waterfalls when coming to Cat Cat village. In addition, you will also visit the hydroelectric plant built by the French in the 20th century. After visiting Cat Cat village, you will return to the hotel to check out and have lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon: you are free to explore Sapa town or go shopping at Sapa market.
15h00: You return to Hanoi by limousine car and return to your hotel in Hanoi around 21:00. You check in the hotel and relax. Overnight in Hanoi.
DAY 5: HANOI – HOA LU – TRANG AN ( MEALS: B,L)
8:00: Our driver and tour guide pick you up at your hotel and depart for Hoa Lu – used to be the ancient capital of Vietnam. On the way to Ninh Binh, you will enjoy the poetic scenery of the beautiful Vietnamese countryside. Arriving in Hoa Lu, you visit King Dinh Temple and King Le temple. You will learn a lot of useful information about the feudal history of Vietnam.
At noon: You have lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, you get on a boat to visit the world heritage complex – Trang An. Trang An has been recognized by UNESCO as a dual world heritage since 2014. You will sit on a boat and move in a peaceful atmosphere with poetic scenery. You will visit famous temples here. Boat ride time is about 2 hours.
After visiting Trang An, you get on the bus to depart for Hanoi.
18h00: You arrive at your hotel in Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.
DAY 6: HANOI – HA LONG BAY ( MEALS: B,L,D)
In the morning, our driver and tour guide pick you up at your hotel and leave Hanoi for Halong Bay in 2.5 hours.
12h00: You arrive at Tuan Chau Marina and check-in.
13h00: You have lunch on the cruise with traditional Vietnamese cuisine and fresh seafood dishes. The cruise will move while you have lunch. You enjoy the poetic scenery of Ha Long Bay – a world natural heritage recognized by UNESCO. You will see thousands of large and small islands on Ha Long Bay such as Stone Dog Islet, Fighting Cocks Islet, Stone Incense Burner Islet…
15h00: You kayak to explore the beautiful Ha Long Bay. You will experience this exciting activity by yourself. Next, you visit Titop Island – a beautiful island in the middle of Ha Long Bay. You can swim or climb the top of the island to see the beautiful Ha Long from above.
17h00: You return to the cruise and relax. Ha Long Bay is amazing at sunset. You enjoy the sunset of Halong Bay with cocktails, mocktails…
19h00: You have dinner on the cruise. After dinner, you can enjoy a drink at the bar or do squid-fishing at night. Overnight on the cruise.
DAY 7: HA LONG BAY – HANOI – HUE ( MEALS: B,L)
In the morning, You wake up early and enjoy the beautiful sunrise on Ha Long Bay with a cup of tea or coffee. Then you have breakfast.
After breakfast, you go to visit Sung Sot cave – one of the largest and most beautiful caves on Ha Long Bay. You will see amazing stalagmites and stalactites with different shapes depending on your imagination.
After visiting Sung Sot cave, you return to the cruise. You check out and pay the bill. The cruise will move to the wharf and you will enjoy the beautiful scenery of Ha Long Bay on the way back to the harbor.
10:00: You join the cooking demonstration and learn how to make traditional Vietnamese spring rolls. Then you have lunch on the cruise before boarding.
You disembark and our driver will take you to Noi Bai airport for a flight to Hue. Arriving at Phu Bai airport, our driver and tour guide will take you to the central hotel in Hue. Overnight at hotel in Hue.
DAY 8: HUE CITY TOUR ( MEALS: B,L)
In the morning, Our driver and guide will pick you up at your hotel to join the Hue city tour. You will board a cruise along the Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda. Thien Mu Pagoda is one of the most ancient pagodas in Hue attracting many tourists to visit every year. You will learn a lot of interesting information about Buddhism and Vietnamese culture here.
Next, you visit Hue Citadel. You will visit and learn much useful information from the feudal period with the unique architecture of the Nguyen Dynasty – the last dynasty of Vietnam.
Noon: You have lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, you visit the tomb of King Tu Duc. The tomb was built in a beautiful location with a poetic landscape. You will learn a lot of information about the history and life of this talented king.
Next, you visit the conical hat – making village: learn about the culture and how to make conical hats of the locals here. The conical hat is an item that shows the charm and simplicity of Vietnamese women.
Incense-making village: You will learn a lot of interesting information about how to make incense in a peaceful village in Hue.
After the tour ends, our driver and tour guide will take you back to the hotel to relax. Overnight in hotel in Hue.
DAY 9: HUE – HOI AN ( MEALS: B,L)
In the morning, Our driver and guide pick you up at your hotel. Then you depart for Hoi An. On the way, you will pass the majestic Hai Van Pass and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the immense sea. You stop to relax and take photos at the beautiful Lang Co Bay.
Arriving Hoi An, you will walk around the colorful old town of lanterns. You visit the most famous tourist sites in Hoi An such as Fujian Assembly Hall, Japanese Bridge, Tan Ky ancient house. Hoi An is famous for its narrow streets with old houses built hundreds of years ago and influenced by Chinese, Japanese and European architecture.
Noon: You have lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, you board a boat to visit Thanh Ha pottery village – one of the oldest pottery villages in Hoi An associated with the development history of Hoi An ancient town. You visit the ceramic production family here, learn about the production process of beautiful vases.
After visiting Thanh Ha pottery village, you return to the hotel to relax. Overnight in hotel in Hoi An.
DAY 10: HOI AN – CAM THANH COCONUT VILLAGE – TRA QUE VEGETABLE VILLAGE ( MEALS: B,L)
In the morning: Our tour guide picks you up by bicycle and then going to visit Cam Thanh coconut village (if you cannot ride a bicycle, we take you there by scooter or car ). Along the way, you will enjoy the poetic, idyllic scenery of the Vietnamese countryside.
9h00: You stop at the local family to relax. After that, you experience the traditional basket boat ride in the water coconut forest. You will learn how to row a basket boat and experience catching fish in the canal.
10:30: You continue to cycle to Tra Que Organic Vegetable Village – this is the place where many kinds of vegetables are produced for local people living around. You will learn the process of growing vegetables organically here. In addition, you also have the opportunity to experience vegetable growing activities – become a real farmer here.
11:30: You have lunch at a local family with many delicious culinary dishes.
In the afternoon: You cycle back to the hotel to rest. Overnight in the hotel in Hoi An.
DAY 11: HOIAN – DANANG – HO CHI MINH CITY ( MEALS: B)
In the morning, you enjoy breakfast at the hotel and check out. Then you relax or walk around Hoi An to buy some souvenirs. Our driver picks you up and transfers you to Da Nang airport for a flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Arriving in Ho Chi Minh City, our driver will pick you up and take you back to the hotel to check in and rest. Overnight in the hotel in Ho Chi Minh city.
DAY 12: HO CHI MINH CITY – CU CHI TUNNEL ( MEALS: B,L)
In the morning: Our driver and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel and then going to Cu Chi – about 70km from the center of Ho Chi Minh City. You will visit Cu Chi Tunnels – one of the famous attractions of the Viet Cong built with 3 floors deep and extends over 200km. Coming to Cu Chi tunnels, you will learn a lot of information about the heroic history of the Vietnamese nation.
At noon: You have lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, you return to Ho Chi Minh City and visit:
Reunification Palace: was the working place of the President of South Vietnam until April 30, 1975. This is the most famous sightseeing place in Ho Chi Minh City. You will learn a lot of information about the heroic history of the Vietnamese nation here.
War Remnants Museum: is a place to display many artifacts, documents, photos and videos about America’s war crimes. You will learn a lot of information about the history of the Vietnam War here.
The Old Post Office: is a work built by the French in 1891 with unique Western architecture. This post office used to be one of the largest post offices in Vietnam.
After visiting the post office, you return to the hotel to rest. Overnight in the hotel in Ho Chi Minh city.
DAY 13: HO CHI MINH CITY – MEKONG DELTA – BEN TRE ( MEALS: B,L)
In the morning, our driver and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel. After that, we’re going to visit Ben Tre – the capital of coconut. It takes about 2.5 hours to get to the pier. You will board the boat to visit Ben Tre. Along the way, you will enjoy the idyllic scenery of the Mekong Delta. You stop to visit:
Brick factory: you will learn about the traditional brick production process of the locals here.
Coconut processing factory: you will see local people processing coconut. It’s very interesting. You learn a lot of things about the coconut processing process here.
Next, you experience tuk-tuk ride along the countryside of Mekong Delta. On the way, you will enjoy the poetic scenery of coconut trees, rice fields, and vegetable gardens of local people. You have lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon: You experience a very interesting boat ride along the coconut-lined canals. After visiting, you return to the boat back to the wharf. You get on the car and go back Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight in the hotel in Ho Chi Minh city.
DAY 14: HO CHI MINH DEPARTURE ( MEALS: B)
In the morning, you enjoy your breakfast at your hotel. After that, you are free at your leisure. You can walk around your hotel to buy some souvenirs or relax. Our driver picks you up and transfers you to the airport for your flight. See you again! End of Services!
