ITINERARY
DAY 1: YANGON ARRIVAL (MEALS: NO)
Upon your arrival at Yangon International Airport, our driver and guide will pick you up and return to your hotel for check-in.
Afternoon: You start to visit Kyaukhtatgyi Pagoda – where there is a 70m long Buddha statue with the size of a blue whale. Then you visit the Royal Lake located in Kandawgyi Park – a popular place with local residents in the early morning and sunset.
You visit the Karaweik Hall, a reproduction of a royal barge, and enjoy breathtaking views of the Golden Shwedagon Pagoda. Then you visit the stalls of locals selling Buddhist objects. You will be explained by your guide about Buddhist usage and rituals in Myanmar. Afterwards, you will see the color changing on the 100m long stupa inlaid with more than 40 tons of gold. Shwedagon – known as the most important religious site for Myanmar people that many tourists visit to travel to Myanmar.
You return to the hotel to rest. You stay overnight at a hotel in Myanmar.
DAY 2: YANGON – BAGAN (MEALS: B)
You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you depart to the airport for a flight to Bagan. Upon arrival at the airport in Bagan, our driver and guide will pick you up and depart for a tour of the greatest architectural sites in Asia.
Bagan was the center of Myanmar from the 11th to the 13th centuries. Kings built many massive stupas and temples. You can see them on the banks of the Irrawaddy River.
The majesty of Bagan with more than 4000 red brick pagodas on a plain of Manhattan island is one of the highlights that brings a great experience to visitors.
You will visit the splendid temples of Bagan and learn a lot of interesting information about Myanmar’s culture. In addition, you also have the opportunity to see traditional craftsmen at work. Then you board a boat up the mighty Irrawaddy River to a quaint local temple. Along the way, you will enjoy the beautiful poetic scenery of the Bagan plains. Next, you visit Ananda temple – one of the most magnificent temples in Bagan. You continue to visit other temples around the temple area to learn a lot of interesting information about the culture and architecture of the temples built from the 9-14 century. Next, you visit the villages around the temples to learn a lot of interesting information about the culture, customs and habits of the local people. You also have the opportunity to visit the famous workshops and craft villages in Bagan which are the workshops of lacquerware and wooden crafts.

You will board a wooden boat to cruise the Irrawaddy River to enjoy the wonderful beauty of the sunset. You will pass by small villages to see the idyllic life of the locals and the Buddhist temples of Myanmar. The beautiful scenery of Bagan will bring you interesting experiences at sunset. At the end of the program, our driver and guide will take you back to the hotel to rest. You stay overnight at a hotel in Bagan.
DAY 3: BAGAN CITY TOUR (MEALS: B)
In the morning, you start an exciting hot-air balloon ride above the Bagan countryside. You’ll enjoy the beautiful view as the sun begins to rise over the Irrawaddy River and the various stupas in the region. You will admire hundreds of temples and the poetic scenery of Bagan from above. (Valid from October to March).
You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, our driver and guide pick you up and start to visit Bagan. You will visit the vibrant NyaungOo market – a gathering place for locals to trade fresh products and goods. Then you visit the famous Shwezigon Pagoda built by King Anawrahta in the early 11th century as a religious memorial. You will have the opportunity to visit and explore the small villages to learn more interesting information about the lives of local people. You visit famous monuments to learn more interesting things here.
Next, you ride a horse-drawn carriage and visit Thatbyinnyu – the tallest temple in Bagan. Dhammayangyi Temple – a huge temple built with beautiful architecture. You will enjoy the beautiful sunset view here.
DAY 4: BAGAN – HEHO – INLE LAKE (MEALS: B)
You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you depart to the airport for a flight to Heho. Arriving at Heho airport, our driver and guide will pick you up and take you to visit NyaungShwe – the gateway village to Inle Lake. Along the way, you’ll have the chance to visit rural workshops specializing in the production of traditional Shan paper and beautiful handmade umbrellas. When you reach the lakeshore, you visit a small town, temples and monasteries. You have chances to interact with the locals.
Then, you board a motorboat to depart for Inle Lake – one of the famous attractions in Myanmar. You will enjoy the beautiful scenery of the lake with vegetation and dreamy hills. Along the way, you will visit several villages built on the lake and learn about the life of the locals. You visit Nga Hpe Chaung Monastery – where many Shan Buddhas are kept.
You continue to visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda – which contains 5 sacred images of Buddha decorated with gold leaf. In addition, you also have the opportunity to visit many traditional craft villages such as lotus silk weaving villages, boat building villages, cigar making villages….
After that, you return to the hotel to rest.
DAY 5: INLE LAKE – INDEIN VILLAGE (MEALS: B)
You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you visit the morning market on the lake (the market is open every day except on the black and full moon days of the calendar). You will learn a lot of interesting information about the culture and simple life of the locals here.
Next, you take a boat for about an hour to visit Pa-Oh village. You will walk around the village to enjoy the poetic scenery as well as interact with the locals here. You climb to the top of the hill to admire the beautiful view of the peaceful surroundings. In addition, you also have the opportunity to visit the small temples around here with hundreds of small towers.
Then you board the boat back. On the way back, you will stop to visit Inthar Heritage House to learn more about the history and culture of the indigenous people by the lake and enjoy delicious coffee and cake.
You return to the hotel and rest.
DAY 6: INLE LAKE – HEHO – YANGON DEPARTURE (MEALS: B)
You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, our driver takes you to Heho airport back to Yangon. Arriving at Yangon airport, you continue to visit another country or return home. End of services! See you again!
