Luang Prabang Discovery Tour 4 Days

ITINENARY

DAY 1: LUANG PRABANG ARRIVAL (MEALS: NO)

Upon your arrival at the Luang Prabang airport. Our driver and tour guide pick you up and transfer you to the hotel in the city center. You stay overnight in the hotel in Luang Prabang.

DAY 2: LUANG PRABANG CITY TOUR (MEALS: B)

You wake up early at around 5:00 am. Afterward, you’ll observe the Arm-Giving Ceremony – hundreds of monks walk along the footpath to collect rice and food from local people. You continue to visit the morning market in Prakham village.

You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, our guide will pick you up at your hotel and depart for sightseeing:

National Museum: one of the major museums in the center of town. You continue to visit Wat Visoun with its impressive stupa and the temple of Wat Aham. After visiting Wat Xieng Thong, you will climb 355 steps to the top of Mount Phousi to enjoy the poetic scenery of Luang Prabang city. There are many stops on the way up and you will see Wat Tham Phousi at the top of the mountain, you will visit the beautifully gilded stupa here. you will see the beautiful city from above. Then you go down the mountain and visit the night market, enjoy the beautiful street view in Luang Prabang.

You return to the hotel and stay overnight at the hotel in Luang Prabang.

DAY 3: LUANG PRABANG – MEKONG RIVER – PAK OU CAVE (MEALS: B)

You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, our guide picks you up and experience the Mekong river cruise. You will enjoy the poetic scenery of the countryside that is both peaceful and picturesque.

After that, you visit Ban Xanghai village – a village famous for distilled local rice wine. Then you visit the mysterious Pak Ou cave. You will see the golden painted Buddha statues. On the way back, you visit Ban Zang Khong village – this is a village famous for silk. You will learn about the traditional silk production process by hand here.

Then you return to the hotel. You stay overnight in Luang Prabang.

 DAY 4: LUANG PRABANG – KUANG SI WATERFALL – DEPARTURE (MEALS: B)

You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, our driver and guide will pick you up and go to visit the beautiful Kua Si waterfall. You can swim or relax here. Next, you visit Black Hmong village – where the Hmong live and make hand-craft souvenirs for tourists passing by. You can buy some gifts for friends, family, and relatives here.

Noon: Our driver and guide will take you to the airport for your flight back home. End of services! See you again!
