DAY 1: HA NOI ARRIVAL (MEALS: NO)
Upon your arrival, our driver and guide will pick you up at the airport and drop you off at your hotel in the city center. You stay overnight at a hotel in Hanoi.
DAY 2: FULL-DAY HA NOI CITY TOUR (MEALS: B,L)
You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, our driver and guide will pick you up at your hotel and depart for sightseeing:
Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum: the eternal resting place of President Ho Chi Minh – who spent his life for the independence of the Vietnamese nation.
Ba Dinh Square: a place where President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence on September 2, 1945, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.
Presidential Palace: built from 1900-1906 with beautiful architecture designed by French architect Auguste Henri Vildieu
Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house: the place where President Ho Chi Minh lived from 1958 to 1969. You visit the stilt house of President Ho Chi Minh and you will listen to many interesting stories about him.
Temple of Literature: Vietnam’s first university was built in 1070 to worship Confucius. This is the place that has educated many talents for Vietnam. Visitors will learn a lot of information about the history and culture of Vietnam here.
You have lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, you visit the Museum of Ethnology – which displays many artifacts about 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam. You will learn a lot of interesting information about the history and culture of Vietnam stretching from the North to the South.
Ngoc Son Temple – Hoan Kiem Lake: known as the pearl in the heart of Hanoi associated with thousands of years of civilization. You will learn a lot of information about the history and culture of Hanoi here.
Join a 45-minute cyclo tour around Hanoi’s Old Quarter. You will learn about the Vietnamese culture and lives of locals here.
Water puppet show: a performance showing the daily activities of Vietnamese farmers in the North. You will learn many interesting things about the culture and history of Vietnam.
You return to the hotel to rest. You stay overnight at the hotel.
DAY 3: HA NOI – SAPA – TA PHIN (MEALS: B, L)
You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you depart for Sapa. Arriving in Sapa, you enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, you visit Ta Phin village – home to the Red Dao and Black Hmong – the two largest ethnic groups in Sapa. You will learn a lot of interesting information about their culture, customs and habits here.
You return to the hotel to check-in and rest. You stay overnight at the hotel in Sapa.
DAY 4: LAO CHAI – TA VAN – GIANG A CHAI (MEALS: B,L)
You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you will go hiking to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Sapa valley. You will go down Cau May Street (about 6km) and then admire the majestic terraced fields of Sapa. You cross small roads and cross the Muong Hoa River to visit Lao Chai village of the Black Hmong. Then, you continue to walk through terraced fields to visit Ta Van village of Giay people. You will learn many interesting things about the culture, customs and habits of the indigenous people here.
You have lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon: You continue to visit Giang Ta Chai village – an ethnic village of the Red Dao people. Then you relax and the car takes you back to the hotel. You stay overnight at the hotel in Sapa.
DAY 5: FANSIPAN – HA NOI (MEALS: B)
You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you take the cable car to visit Fansipan peak – located at an altitude of 3143m above sea level. Fansipan peak is known as the roof of Indochina. You enjoy the fresh air and admire the beautiful majestic scenery.
You return to Sapa town and get on the car back to Hanoi. You stay overnight at a hotel in Hanoi
DAY 6: HA NOI – HA LONG BAY (MEALS: B,L,D)
You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, our driver picks you up and departs for Ha Long Bay – a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site. It takes you about 2.5 hours to reach Ha Long Bay.
You have lunch on the cruise and while having lunch, you will enjoy the beauty of the romantic Ha Long Bay. Then you visit Sung Sot cave – one of the most beautiful caves on Ha Long Bay. Then you return to the cruise to relax. You have dinner on the cruise.
DAY 7: HA LONG BAY – HUE (MEALS: B,L)
You wake up early to enjoy the sunrise beauty of Ha Long Bay. Then you enjoy a cup of coffee or tea. Then you have breakfast and enjoy the beauty of Ha Long Bay with thousands of large and small islands as beautiful as in pictures. You have brunch on the cruise and return to the pier. Arriving at the pier, our driver and guide will take you to Noi Bai airport for a flight to Hue. Upon arrival at Hue airport, our driver will pick you up and take you back to your hotel for check-in and rest. You stay overnight at a hotel in Hue.
DAY 8: HUE CITY TOUR (MEALS: B,L)
You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Then, you get on a boat to cruise the Perfume River and visit Thien Mu Pagoda – one of the oldest pagodas in Hue attracting many tourists to visit every year. You continue to visit the Imperial City of Hue – a cultural heritage recognized by UNESCO with unique architecture and rich in culture and history of the Nguyen Dynasty – the last dynasty of Vietnam. Next, you visit the tomb of King Tu Duc – a picturesque complex of tombs with a harmonious natural landscape on a beautiful terrain. You have lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, you visit Minh Mang Tomb – a beautiful complex of mausoleums with lush scenery and beautiful terrain of King Minh Mang – a famous king under the Nguyen Dynasty.
You visit Dong Ba market – is the local market of Hue city. You will see the colorful stalls and where you can learn a lot of interesting information about the daily life of the locals here. You return to the hotel to rest. You stay overnight at a hotel in Hue,
DAY 9: HUE – DA NANG – HOI AN (MEALS: B,L)
You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you move to Hoi An. You will pass through Hai Van Pass. You stop to take pictures at Lang Co beach. After that, you visit the Cham museum, Marble sculpture workshop.
Arriving in Hoi An, you walk half a day through the small, narrow streets of Hoi An ancient town. You visit Ong Pagoda, Chinese Assembly Hall, Tan Ky ancient house and Japanese Bridge. You return to the hotel to check in and rest. You stay overnight at the hotel in Hoi An.
DAY 10: HOI AN – CAM THANH COCONUT VILLAGE – COOKING CLASS (MEALS: B,L)
You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Then, you cycle along the Thu Bon River to visit the local fishing village and learn a lot of interesting information about the lives of the locals. You pass through the palm groves, watching the farmers working in the fields or the fishermen pulling nets in the river.
You rest at the local family and experience 1.5 hours of traditional basket boat ride in the Coconut forest. You learn how to row a basket boat and experience catching fish in the canal.
Then, you visit Tra Que organic vegetable village – a place that produces vegetables for the local community. You will learn about the process of growing vegetables here and have the opportunity to become a real farmer.
You visit the local family and join the cooking class. Then you enjoy lunch here.
After lunch, you return to the hotel to rest. You stay overnight at the hotel in Hoi An.
DAY 11: DA NANG – HO CHI MINH CITY – CITY TOUR (MEALS: B,D)
You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, our driver will take you to Da Nang airport for a flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, our driver and guide will pick you up and start to visit:
Central Post Office: a famous architectural work in Ho Chi Minh City built according to French architecture. This is also the largest post office in Vietnam.
Visit the War Remnants Museum: a place to keep artifacts, images and documents about the wars of the US and Vietnam.
Independence Palace: The work place of the President of the South until April 30, 1975.
After that, you enjoy dinner on the Saigon cruise. After dinner, you return to the hotel to rest. You stay overnight at a hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.
DAY 12: HO CHI MINH CITY – YANGON – CITY TOUR (MEALS: B)
You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you go to the airport for a flight to Yangon. Upon arrival at Yangon airport, our driver and guide will pick you up and depart for sightseeing: Chauk Htat Gyi – a famous Giant Buddha statue in Yangon that attracts many visitors. Then you take pictures at Karaweik Hall – a floating royal barge. Finally, you visit the golden dome of Shwedagon Pagoda – 98 meters high covered with 60 tons of pure gold.
DAY 13: YANGON – BAGAN (MEALS: B)
You depart to Yangon airport for a flight to Bagan. Upon arrival at Bagan airport, our driver and guide will welcome you to visit the bustling local market. Then you visit the famous temples and shrines of Bagan.
Afternoon: you visit the lacquer craft workshop in Myinkaba village. Then you visit Manuha temple, built in Mon style in 1059 and Nanbaya temple, a unique sandstone monument believed to be the palace of King Manuha ; and Myingaba Gu Byaukgyi Temple, famous for its ancient murals.
DAY 14: BAGAN DISCOVERY (MEALS: B)
You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you visit the elevated temple. you can enjoy a beautiful view of the surrounding plains. Next, you visit Myinkaba village and Gubyaukgyi temple – which possesses beautiful scenery along with attractive plaster carvings. You visit Manuha temple – a temple that owns a beautiful stone Buddha statue. You continue to visit Tu Yin Taung – a stupa on the hill to the east of the Archaeological Park.
You go to Lanka Nandar to take a boat to visit the beautiful scenery of the Irrawaddy River, learn a lot of interesting information about the life of the locals, riverside villages and the temples of Bagan. You visit Sae Lan village – a typical riverside village here. Then you take a boat to Kyauk Gu U Min on the east side of the river, you walk to a beautiful temple. After sightseeing, you return to the hotel to rest. You stay overnight at a hotel in Bagan.
DAY 15: BAGAN – POPA MOUNTAIN – MANDALAY (MEALS: B)
You enjoy breakfast at the hotel and then continue to visit Mount Popa – an extinct volcano with the sacred Nats temple. You climb 777 steps to reach this temple on top of the volcano. Then, you get on the car back to the old capital of Myanmar, Mandalay. You stay overnight at a hotel in Mandalay.
DAY 16: MANDALAY – AMARAPURA – MANDALAY (MEALS: B)
You enjoy breakfast at the hotel and then visit famous destinations in Mandalay including Amarapura, Mahagandayon, a famous Buddhist monastery, where more than a thousand monks live and study. Continue to visit the 200-year-old U Bein teak bridge, built in 1782 at a time when Amarapura was the royal capital. Visit Bagaya Monastery, with its excellent collection of Buddha statues. On the way back to Mandalay, you stop at a traditional handmade silk weaving factory.
Afternoon: you visit the Mahamuni temple with Buddha statue covered with thick layers of gold leaves. Then you visit Gold Leaf Factory and Carpet Weaving Workshop. Next, you visit some famous monasteries: Shwe Inbin, Shwe Nan Daw Kyaung or Golden Palace Monastery and Kuthodaw Pagoda, known as the world’s largest book consisting of 729 marble slabs engraved with Buddhist scriptures. And finally, you watch the sunset on Mandalay hill.
DAY 17: MANDALAY – MINGUN – AVA – MANDALAY (MEALS: B)
You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you cruise on the Irrawaddy River towards the ancient capital of Mingun. You will visit the temple with a beautiful giant bell. Then you visit the beautiful white Hsinbyume Pagoda.
Next, you travel to the ancient royal capital Inwa (Ava) and then take a carriage tour to Nanmyint Watchtower – known by the nickname “the leaning tower of Ava”. Then you visit Maha Aungmye Bonzan Monastery and Bargayar Monastery, famous for its impressive wood carvings and teak pillars.
DAY 18: MANDALAY – HEHO – PINDAYA – INLE LAKE (MEALS: B)
You enjoy breakfast at the hotel and then move to the airport to Heho. Upon arrival in Heho, our driver and guide will pick you up and go on a Pindaya tour through the picturesque countryside of Shan State. You visit the limestone cave with galleries of more than 8,000 Buddha statues. Afterwards, you stop at local craft workshops that produce Shan paper and traditional umbrellas.
Next, you visit Inle Lake – one of the most famous destinations of Myanmar. The Intha people, a tribe of Mon origin, live in lakeside and floating villages. You will learn a lot of interesting information about the culture and customs of the Intha people here.
DAY 19: INLE LAKE – INDEIN VILLAGE (MEALS: B)
You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you continue to visit Indein on the south side of the lake by motorboat. You’ll walk around the village passing by the local school and arrive at the beautiful Alaung Sitthou area, where the ancient stupas are partially covered with vegetation. You admire the beautiful scenery on the lake.
DAY 20: INLE LAKE – HEHO – YANGON (MEALS: B)
You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you visit Inle Lake by boat, watching fishermen rowing boat by foot and see floating gardens. You visit Ywama floating village and local floating market. Next, you visit Phaung Daw Oo pagoda, Inpawkhon weaving village….
You depart to Heho airport for a flight back to Yangon.
DAY 21: YANGON DEPARTURE (MEALS: B)
You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you go to visit the famous Botahtaung Pagoda in Yangon. After that, you are free to explore the city center with China Town.
Afternoon: Our driver picks you up at your hotel and then departs for Yangon International Airport for a flight back home. End of services! See you again!
