ITINENARY
DAY 1: LUANG PRABANG ARRIVAL (MEALS: NO)
Upon your arrival at the airport, our driver and guide will pick you up and take you back to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the time you are free. You stay overnight at a hotel in Luang Prabang.
DAY 2: LUANG PRABANG CITY TOUR BY BIKE (MEALS: B)
You start cycling to visit Phosi market in the morning. This is the biggest market in Luang Prabang. You will learn about the culture and customs of the local people here. There are many small shops selling clothes and food you’ll visit here.
Then you visit some tourist sites here:
Vat Xieng Thong (Temple of the Royal City): one of the most important monasteries of Laos imbued with religious, royal and traditional arts.
Vat Senna – is one of the most beautiful temples in Luang Prabang. Literally, this temple means “Temple of 100,000 treasures”.
Traditional Arts and Ethnology Center (closed on Mondays): is a historic building recognized and preserved by UNESCO. The museum has a display area including traditional clothes, religious artifacts, daily labor tools of the ethnic groups of Laos. You will learn a lot of interesting information about the history and culture of the Lao people here.
In the afternoon, you visit:
Royal Palace: the National Museum was built in 1904 for King Sisavang Vong and his family. In 1975, this palace was converted into a national museum for tourists to visit and learn about the history and culture of Laos.
Then you take pictures of the sunset on the beautiful Mount Phousi. On the way back, you visit the Hmong night market – you can buy traditional Lao souvenirs here. You cycle back to the hotel to rest. You stay overnight at a hotel in Luang Prabang.
DAY 3: PAK OU CAVE – KUANG SI WATERFALL (MEALS: B)
You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you board the boat downstream to enjoy the beautiful natural scenery along the river. In the distance, you will see the limestone cliffs – where the Pak Ou cave is located. The cave is home to thousands of Buddha statues making it a place of reverence. You will discover and take many impressive photos here.
Then you return to the city. Along the way, you will visit Ban Xang Hai village – you will learn about the traditional Lao rice whiskey-making process. Next, you visit the village of Ban Xang Khong – where the production of wooden paper and Lao silk weaving.
Then, you go to visit Kuang Si waterfall – one of the beautiful turquoise waterfalls. On the way to there, you will enjoy the poetic scenery of rice fields, beautiful small villages.
Then you return to the hotel. You stay overnight at the hotel.
DAY 4: LUANG PRABANG – VIENTIANE (MEALS: B)
You enjoy breakfast at the hotel and free to explore the city. Then, our driver will take you to the airport for your flight to Vientiane. Upon arrival in Vientiane, our driver will take you back to your hotel for check-in. You stay overnight at a hotel in Vientiane.
DAY 5: VIENTIANE CITY TOUR – BUDDHA PARK (MEALS: B)
You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you go to visit the beauty of Vientiane with many famous historical sites including:
Vat Phra Keo –one of the most beautiful and impressive temples in Vientiane
Vat Sisaket –a temple with beautiful architecture and layout
Pha That Louang –the most important religious temple in Laos
Patuxay –the place where you can enjoy the whole beautiful city of Laos.
Afternoon: You visit the famous Buddha park – where there are hundreds of Buddha statues and a giant Buddha statue. You will have the opportunity to explore the unique statues here.
After sightseeing, you return to the hotel to rest. You spend the night at the hotel!
DAY 6: VIENTIANE – HALF-DAY PARSE TOUR (MEALS: B)
You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, our driver will take you to the airport for your flight to Pakse. Pakse is the capital city of Champasak province. This is the second-most populous city in the country, acting as the main transport and commercial center of Southern Laos, connecting with the Bolaven plateau, Wat Phou, Si Phan Don (4,000 archipelagos)… Pakse is the place where visitors enjoy a relaxing atmosphere on Mekong and Sedone rivers. The locals are very friendly and there are many famous riverside restaurants and bars around. You visit the Vat Phou temple – listed on the UNESCO world heritage list. Wat Phou is a beautiful pre-Angkorian temple built on three levels. Next, you visit the Golden Buddha Temple at the top of the hill to enjoy the beautiful Buddha statue overlooking the Mekong River. You can take many beautiful pictures with the statue of Buddha as well as enjoy the beautiful panorama of Pakse. You return to the hotel to check-in and rest. You stay overnight at a hotel in Pakse.
DAY 7: DAY TOUR TO BOLAVEN (MEALS: B)
You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After that, you depart for Bolaven Plateau – a green and cool year-round attraction. Surrounding the park are several parks with impressive waterfalls, unspoiled jungle, tribes rich in traditional culture. You will be visiting the beautiful majestic waterfalls including Tad Yeuang, Tad Phasoum and Tad Fan. You will be immersed in the charming natural scenery here. You return to the hotel to rest. You stay overnight at the hotel in the hotel.
DAY 8: PAKSE – 4000 ISLANDS (MEALS: B)
You have breakfast at the hotel and check out. After that, you go to visit Khone Papheng – one of the most famous and important destinations of 4000 islands. You will visit the 10km long waterfall – one of the largest waterfalls in Southeast Asia and the jewel of Laos. Afternoon: You visit the ruins of Ou Mong before driving to Nakasong and taking a boat along the Mekong River to reach the most bustling and bustling island in Si Phan Done – Done Det. Along the way, you will learn many interesting things about the simple life of the locals here as well as interact with them. You return to the hotel to rest. You stay overnight at the hotel.
DAY 9: 4000 ISLANDS – PAKSE (MEALS: B)
You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you go to visit Don Det and Don Khone – these are two smaller islands and are considered a paradise of many tourists. You will travel by boat along the Mekong River. Along the way, you will see children playing in the water or fishermen fishing along the river.
You take a tuk-tuk to visit these 2 islands, visit the fishing village of Ban Khone – you will discover the ruins of the French railway and the beautiful Liphi Waterfall. Enjoying the peaceful atmosphere on the islands and taking beautiful photos of the idyllic life and natural beauty here.
In the afternoon, you board the motor boat again to visit the Cambodian border, where the famous Irrawaddy dolphin lives. If you’re lucky you’ll see them swimming.
You return to the hotel to rest. You stay overnight at a hotel in Pakse.
DAY 10: PAKSE DEPARTURE (MEALS: B)
You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you relax until our driver picks you up and departs for the airport to return home. End of services! See you again!
