ITINERARY

DAY 1: YANGON – CITY TOUR (MEALS: NO)

Upon your arrival at the airport, our driver and guide will pick you up and drop you off at your hotel for check-in.

Then you start to visit Yangon city. You will visit famous attractions in the city including:

Kyaukhtatgyi Pagoda: famous for its 70m high Buddha statue. Then you come to visit the colorful Chinatown of dragons. You visit the colorful Chinese Khen Hock Keong temple. You explore the lively street stalls with a variety of items such as: fruits, vegetables and other goods. Then you visit the glittering royal barge at Kandawgyi Park.

When the sun goes down, you come to visit the brilliant Shwedagon Pagoda with its 100m-long gold-plated stupa. You return to the hotel to rest. You stay overnight at a hotel in Yangon.

DAY 2: YANGON – BAGAN (MEALS: B)

You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, our driver will take you to the airport for your flight to Bagan. Upon arrival in Bagan, our driver and guide will pick you up and start to visit the bustling Nyaung U Market. Then, you visit the gilded Shwezigon Pagoda and learn a lot of interesting information about Burmese Buddhism.

In the afternoon: you visit the ancient Ananda temple and some local lacquerware factories and see how the local people make traditional crafts here.

Finally, you can enjoy the panoramic sunset from Bagan’s second tallest pagoda, ShweSandaw Pagoda.

DAY 3: BAGAN DISCOVERY (MEALS: B)

You enjoy breakfast at the hotel and then explore the ancient city by horse-drawn carriage to Nan Paya Temple – one of the largest temples in Bagan and many interesting sites around it. You stop at MinkabaGubyaukyi temple – one of the beautiful ancient temples in Bagan. At the end of the day, you enjoy the sunset panorama of Pyathatgyi Pagoda.

DAY 4: BAGAN – INLE LAKE (MEALS: B)

You enjoy breakfast at the hotel and then go to the airport for a flight to Heho. Upon arrival in Heho, our driver and guide will pick you up and depart for a tour of Nyaung Shwe, the gateway village to Inle Lake.

You get on a motorboat and visit Inle Lake – one of the lakes with beautiful scenery in Myanmar. You will admire the calm waters with floating vegetation and fishing boats blending with the beautiful hills to create a charming scene. You will learn many interesting things about the life of the locals here.

Next, you visit Nga Hpe Chaung monastery – where there are many Shan Buddha statues. Then you visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, where there are five sacred images of Buddha decorated with gold leaf. In addition, there are many traditional craft villages originating from Inle Lake that you can visit such as lotus silk weaving villages, cigar making villages, silversmithing villages, boat building craft villages…

DAY 5: INLE LAKE – INDEIN – INLE (MEALS: B)

You visit the morning market on the lake (the market is open every day except on the dark and full moon days of the calendar). You will see the activities of locals buying and selling fresh produce and goods in the early morning. You continue to take a boat to visit the Pa-Oh village of Indein. You will learn a lot of interesting information about the life of the locals here as well as climb the mountain to enjoy the great beauty. Next, you visit Sae Ma village – on the way you will enjoy the natural beauty and poetic scenery. You will learn about the customs and culture of the local people here. Then you stop at Intha Heritage House to learn more about the history and culture of the indigenous people by the lake. You return to the hotel and rest.

DAY 6: INLE LAKE – YANGON – HANOI (MEALS: B)

You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, our driver will take you to Heho airport for your flight back to Yangon. After that, you continue to take a flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival at Noi Bai airport, our driver will pick you up and drop you off at your hotel in the city center. You stay overnight at a hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter.

DAY 7: HANOI CITY TOUR (MEALS: B,L)

You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, our driver and guide will pick you up to visit famous destinations in Hanoi:

Ho Chi Minh Complex: you will visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Presidential Palace, Nha San and One Pillar Pagoda.

Temple of Literature: known as the first university of Vietnam built in 1070. This is the school that has educated many talents for Vietnam during the feudal period.

You have lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon: you visit the Museum of Ethnology – a place to store artifacts of 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam. You will learn a lot of interesting information about the culture and history of Vietnamese ethnic groups from the North to the South.

Ngoc Son Temple and Hoan Kiem Lake: Known as the heart of Hanoi for thousand years of civilization. You will learn many interesting things about the culture and history of Hanoi here.

You experience a 45-minute cyclo ride. You will visit Hanoi’s old town bustling with small shops, lively small streets all year round. After that, you return to the hotel to rest. You stay overnight at a hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter.

 DAY 8: HA NOI – HA LONG BAY (MEALS: B,L,D)

You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you depart for Ha Long Bay. Arriving at Vinashin port, you board a cruise and explore the beautiful, unspoiled Bai Tu Long Bay. Noon: You have lunch on the cruise and enjoy the poetic beauty of Bai Tu Long Bay. Afternoon: You visit Vung Vieng fishing village – an old fishing village on Bai Tu Long Bay. You can kayak or take a basket boat rowed by the locals. You will learn a lot of interesting information about the life and culture of the local people. Then you visit the pearl farm.

Next, you return to the cruise to relax and enjoy the beautiful sunset on Bai Tu Long Bay. Then you join the cooking demonstration and learn how to make traditional Vietnamese spring rolls.

You enjoy dinner on the cruise. After dinner, you take a rest or join squid fishing activity. You stay overnight on the cruise.

DAY 9: HA LONG BAY – HA NOI – HUE (MEALS: B,L)

You wake up early and enjoy the beautiful view of sunrise over Bai Tu Long Bay and do Tai Chi.

Then you have breakfast on the cruise.

After breakfast, you visit Thien Canh Son cave – one of the beautiful caves with amazing stalagmites.

After that, you return to the cruise to check out and enjoy lunch on board. Boat docked, our driver picks you up and departs for Noi Bai airport for a flight to Hue. Upon arrival at Hue airport, our driver will pick you up and take you back to the hotel to check in and rest.

DAY 10: HUE CITY TOUR (MEALS: B,L)

You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, our driver and guide will pick you up for a boat trip on the Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda – one of the most ancient pagodas in Hue. You will learn a lot of interesting information about Buddhism in Vietnam here.

Then, you visit the Imperial City of Hue – recognized as a cultural heritage by UNESCO. It also preserves many artifacts about the Nguyen Dynasty – the last dynasty of Vietnam. You will learn a lot of useful information about the feudal history of Vietnam.

You have lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon: You visit the tomb of King Tu Duc – a mausoleum built on a beautiful location. You will learn a lot of information about the kings of the Nguyen Dynasty as well as enjoy the poetic scenery here. After that, you visit Khai Dinh Tomb which has a unique architecture that combines the East and the West. You visit Dong Ba market to learn about the life and culture of local people. You return to the hotel to rest. You stay overnight at a hotel in Hue.

DAY 11: HUE – DA NANG – HOI AN (MEALS: B,L)

You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, our driver picks you up to Hoi An. On the way, you stop at Hai Van Pass to enjoy the beauty of the immense sea. You take pictures at Lang Co Bay and have a short break here. You go through Da Nang city and visit the Marble Mountains.

You have lunch at a local restaurant.

You come to Hoi An and walk around. Hoi An is a world cultural heritage recognized by UNESCO. Hoi An is famous for its ancient houses and narrow streets filled with colorful lanterns. You visit Ong Pagoda, Chinese Assembly Hall, Tan Ky ancestral house and Japanese bridge.

Then you return to the hotel and rest. You stay overnight at a hotel in Hoi An.

DAY 12: HOI AN – CAM THANH VILLAGE – COOKING CLASS (MEALS: B,L)

You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Then our tour guide picks you up by bike. Today, you will cycle through the countryside of Hoi An. If you are unable to ride a bicycle, we have alternative means of transport for you. You will cycle to Cam Thanh village. On the way, you will see the romantic and idyllic countryside of Hoi An with green rice fields, palm forests, bridges….

You stop at a local family in Cam Thanh village and then experience a basket boat ride for about 1.5 hours and learn to catch fish in the canal.

You visit Tra Que organic vegetable village – a place that produces many kinds of vegetables for the local community. You will learn the process of growing vegetables and experience being a real farmer here.

Then you stop at the local family and join the cooking class. You will learn how to make famous local dishes in Hoi An. You have lunch at a local family.

After lunch, you cycle back to the hotel to rest. You stay overnight at a hotel in Hoi An.

DAY 13: HOI AN – DA NANG – HO CHI MINH CITY (MEALS: B)

You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, our driver will take you to Da Nang airport for a flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat airport, our driver will pick you up and take you back to your hotel for check-in. You stay overnight at a hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

DAY 14: CU CHI TUNNEL – HO CHI MINH CITY TOUR (MEALS: B,L)

You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, our driver and guide will pick you up and depart for Cu Chi Tunnels – you will learn and explore the maze between the tunnels, where the Vietnamese hide to avoid from bombing raids, hide from enemies and launch surprise attacks. You will learn many stories about the heroic history of the Vietnamese nation here.

You have lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, you return to the center of Ho Chi Minh City and continue to visit:

The Old Office: built-in beautiful French architecture and is also the largest post office in Vietnam.

Independence Palace: a famous attraction in Ho Chi Minh City. This is the workplace of the President of the Republic of Vietnam until April 30, 1975.

War Remnants Museum: a place to store pictures, documents and videos about the war between Vietnam and the US.

Then, you visit Ben Thanh market – a place to trade goods of local people. This is also the symbol of Ho Chi Minh City.

You return to the hotel to rest. You stay overnight at a hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

DAY 15: HO CHI MINH CITY – MEKONG DELTA (MEALS :B,L)

You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, our driver and guide will pick you up at your hotel and depart for a tour of the Mekong Delta. You board the boat and visit Cai Be floating market – you will cruise the romantic Mekong River to see and learn a lot of interesting information about the life and culture of the local people. Then, you visit the famous coconut candy and rice paper factories here… Then you visit the local people’s families and learn about their lives. You have lunch at a local family. After lunch, you walk around the village and enjoy some fruits and listen to traditional Vietnamese music. You will cycle on the village roads to visit local farms and families and learn many interesting things about the customs and culture of the people here. You return to Ho Chi Minh City and check-in hotel to rest. You stay overnight at a hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

DAY 16: HO CHI MINH CITY – PHNOM PENH (MEALS: B)

You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, our driver picks you up and departs for Tan Son Nhat airport for a flight to Phnom Penh. Upon arrival in Phnom Penh, our driver will pick you up and take you back to your hotel to rest. You stay overnight at a hotel in Phnom Penh.

DAY 17: PHNOM PENH – KILLING FIELD – CITY TOUR (MEALS: B)

You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, our driver and guide will pick you up to visit:

Toul Sleng Prison Museum and Choeung Ek Killing Field – places to keep the bloody past of Cambodians under Pol Pot. You will learn a lot about Cambodian history here.

Afternoon: you visit the Independence Monument and Royal Palace built by King Norodom in 1866 on the grounds of the Old Quarter and Silver Pagoda. Located in the grounds of Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda is a work built with more than 5000 pieces of silver paved on the floor. The pagoda is the place to keep and preserve the religious treasures of Cambodia. Then you visit Wat Phnom – one of the most sacred temples in Cambodia built-in 1373. This temple attracts many tourists to visit every year.

You return to the hotel to rest. You stay overnight at a hotel in Phnom Penh.

DAY 18: PHNOM PENH – SIEM REAP – TONLE SAP LAKE – FLOATING VILLAGE (MEALS: B)

You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, our driver will pick you up and depart for Phnom Penh airport for Siem Reap. Upon your arrival, our driver will pick you up and return to your hotel to rest.

Afternoon: You visit the floating village of Chong Khneas. You will board a traditional wooden boat to visit Tonle Sap Lake – known as the “Lake Lake” of Cambodia. It is also one of the largest lakes in Asia. You visit Chantiers Ecoles – Les Artisans d’Angkor – which trains young Cambodians about the traditional carvings of the ancient Khmer. You stay overnight at a hotel in Siem Reap!

DAY 19: SIEM REAP – ANGKOR TEMPLE TOUR (MEALS: B)

You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you visit Angkor with the South Gate of Angkor Thom, which is famous for a series of giant faces carved in stone. You visit Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King…You will learn a lot of interesting information about architectural masterpieces built in the 12th century with an area about 210 hectares. You stroll around this massive area and tour the galleries, columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards and ponds….

You continue to visit the famous Ta Prohm temple with ancient beauty. You will see huge fig trees and giant vines embracing themselves in the stone foundation of the structure giving the impression of human creativity. Then, you admire the beautiful sunset at Bakheng hill. You stay overnight at the hotel in Siem Reap.

DAY 20: ANGKOR TEMPLE TOUR (MEALS: B)

You enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you go to visit Banteay Srei temple – an ancient temple with intricate carvings. On the way, you visit Preah Dark village to learn about the customs and culture of the local people. Then, you visit Banteay Samre temple – which is decorated with impressive reliefs depicting Vishunu scenes as well as Krishna legends. Next, you visit Roluos Group – once the capital of Indravarman I. You will learn a lot of interesting information about the history of Cambodia here. You return to the hotel to rest. You stay overnight at a hotel in Siem Reap.

DAY 21: SIEM REAP DEPARTURE (MEALS: B)
